Veronica Farrell has become the newest member of Timmins City Council. Farrell was sworn into council at last night’s meeting. This marks the first time in Timmins history that city council has more than one female member around the table. Farrell is replacing former Ward one Councillor Andre Grzela who resigned in December to pursue a business opportunity in Ottawa.
