Kirkland Lake Gold has announced it’s merging with Newmarket Gold and adding to its management team. The company is doing this to increase its portfolio of gold mines in Canada and Australia. John Landmark has been appointed as VP Exploration Australia and Ryan King has been named VP of Investor Relations. President and CEO Anthony Makuch says the new management team will be key members of the new company as it grows a strong foundation of quality gold production. Makuch believes the new management team brings expertise that will help position the company as the preferred investment among mid-tier gold producers.
