There is a growing need for detached housing in the province according to the Ontario Real Estate Association. A recent study showed half of people who are looking to buy a house in the province say they would be more likely to buy a detached house over a condo or duplex. That number is up 13 points when compare to previous years. The majority of people who participated in the study said real estate is a good investment and it makes more sense to own rather than rent.
