A man has been granted bail after an assault at the Cedar Street Tavern in Timmins on Christmas Eve. The 45 year-old man allegedly struck two of the tavern employees, one one the arm and the other on the facial area, after he was asked to leave the business for being verbally abusive. Interim Communications Coordinator with TPS Marc Depatie says when police arrived, the man was being restrained by other tavern patrons. Both tavern employees received minor injuries.
