Police are reminding people travelling this holiday weekend to stay safe.The Timmins Police Service is expecting higher volumes of traffic on the road. Interim Communications Coordinator with TPS Marc Depatie says people need to remember to drive to the conditions, have a sober driver and keep your vehicle visible. He says people travelling long distances should also have an emergency kit with a blanket, candle and food in the car. Depatie reminds drivers to take your time getting to where you are going this holiday season.
