News Timmins Police Host a Toy Drive for Local Shelters SHARE ON: Mackenzie Read, contributor, Monday, Dec. 19th, 2016 Photo Credit: Marc Depatie The Timmins Police Service hosted what it’s calling a very successful toy drive. TPS has collected toys throughout the year to give to children in distress. Interim Communications Coordinator Marc Depatie says the toys have been distributed to area shelters and Victim’s Services. Depatie says TPS believes these agencies most typically deal with people who are going through a tougher time and need more support during the Christmas season. Each agency was able to completely fill a vehicle with toys for children in need.
