Timmins residents are reminded about a few rules that come into effect once the snow hits the ground. People are asked to keep snow piles off the roads and walkways. City Public Works Manager Ken Krcel says it’s a bylaw violation to pile snow from your yard on the streets and sidewalks. Krcel says residents also need to remember that the overnight street parking ban is currently in effect. Bylaw officers are out monitoring city streets and will handing out tickets if need be.
