Man charged after pointing rifle at traffic

There were some scary moments in the west end of Sudbury.  Police say a man pointed a rifle at several passing vehicles while he walked a section of the city after midnight Saturday.  Police arrested the 19-year-old without incident.   With the man in custody, police determined he was holding a BB pellet rifle, but it’s a near perfect dead-ringer for an assault rifle.  The man faces weapons-related charges.  Police still don’t know why he pointed the rifle at traffic.
