The agency has been given 80,000 from the Timmins Area District Hospital Auxiliary. This latest amount takes the foundation’s fundraising drive to $1.5 million. The money the foundation has raised will help the hospital buy some much-needed medical equipment like smart pumps, dialysis vital signs monitor and a sleep lab osmosis machine. It also buys a pediatric asthma vital sign monitor. The hospital says the monitor will help staff better manage asthma, especially with children.
