News Drug ring busted in Sturgeon Falls region SHARE ON: Rocco Frangione, contributor, Thursday, Nov. 24th, 2016 A drug trafficking ring in the Sturgeon Falls area has been busted resulting in a huge drug haul and the arrest of four people. The bust was the culmination of a six month undercover operation where police bought drugs like cocaine and meth from suppliers. Three homes were raided and police seized 10-thousand meth pills, 70 marijuana plants, cocaine and marijuana worth more than $131,000. Also, about $6,500 was confiscated. Three residents of Sturgeon Falls and one from Thorne are facing possession, trafficking and conspiracy to traffic charges. The four range in age from 24 to 42.
