News Police help distraut woman SHARE ON: Rocco Frangione, contributor, Thursday, Nov. 24th, 2016 Timmins Police Service vehicle supplied by TPS Timmins police have released details about a distraught woman at Porcupine Lake saying she was going to hurt herself. Police say the 43-year-old acted in a threatening and irrational manner during Saturday’s incident and said repeatedly she had a weapon. But after calming the woman down and removing her from danger, police don’t say if they found a weapon. The woman was taken to Timmins and District Hospital for treatment.
