Climate change summit could be held in city

Timmins could be the host of a climate change summit on how extreme weather affects aging infrastructure. This was pitched by Councillor Rick Dubeau, and if all goes through, will happen next month. That is an addition to a different climate change summit, which is being hosted by the Mushkegowuk First Nation.  Mayor Steve Black says the summit will touch on things like how climate change affects cities in the north, when it comes to infrastructure and floods.
