However at this time, Timmins police are not identifying the remains. They want a positive identification based on a post mortem investigation. On October 5th, a vehicle belonging to 59-year-old Charles Bemrose of North Bay was found off Highway 655 in Timmins. The remains were also found in the Highway 655 area. Since the discovery of the vehicle, North Bay police have been helping Timmins police search the area.
