Keith Urban confirmed as the headliner for this summer’s fireworks festival

Timmins is releasing the names of all of the bands and artists playing this summer’s eight-day music and fireworks festival. The $3.5 million event will begin on June 24th, and will run through until July 1st to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary.

The full list of bands is as follows:

Saturday, June 24: Cindy Doire, LGS, Michel Pagliaro. Fireworks by Team France.

Sunday, June 25: Scarlett Jane, Celeste Levis, Dave Wilcox and Sass Jordan. Fireworks by Team Italy.

Monday, June 26 (sponsored by Moose FM): Tom Cochrane. Fireworks by Team Finland.

Tuesday, June 27: Lights and Simple Plan. Fireworks by Team Ukraine.

Wednesday, June 28: Hedley and Alyssa Reid. Fireworks by Team China.

Thursday, June 29: The Box, Alan Frew and April Wine. Fireworks by Team Brazil.

Friday, June 30: Washboard Union and Cold Creek Country. Fireworks by Team U.K.

Saturday, July 1: Sons of Maxwell, Meghan Patrick, Johnny Reid, and Keith Urban. Fireworks by Team Canada.

Tickets are $150 for the Saturday night, or $200 for the entire eight-day pass.

Tickets will be on sale to Timmins residents as a “pre-sale” on December 1st starting at 9am online at www.StarsAndThunder.com or at the Archie Dillon Sportsplex Arena in the lower Foyer from 9am to 9pm and from Noon to 6pm on December 2nd. The tickets will then be opened up to the general public beginning December 2nd starting at 6pm online.
