The winter parking ban is now in effect in Timmins. On-street parking is banned between 11:30pm and 7:30am.

It also means cars can’t be parked on roads during the day when snow removal is happening. Public Works will post signs the day before, so drivers are aware. Parking on the street during those times could end in a $50 fine and having your car towed.

However, there are some areas exempt from the parking ban, like in Schumacher. In those cases, signs will be posted stating so.

The ban runs until April 30th.
