Charges laid in Hearst animal cruelty case

The Hearst OPP is charging two people in connection to animal cruelty. Police allege animals were being stolen from a hobby farm, and then being killed. Two teenagers are now facing a slew of charges. A 19-year-old man from Hearst is looking at theft, and entering a prohibited premise charges. Meanwhile, and 18-year-old female is looking at property obtained by crime, and theft charges.

The case is still under investigation, and the OPP is asking anyone with information to give them a call. Both of the accused have a court date next month to answer to the charges.
