Highway 101 is going to be getting a little bit brighter starting this week. Around 25 new street lights are going to be installed throughout the week to wrap up the first phase of the Connecting Link project. The $4.5 million phase saw a little over a kilometre of the highway redone.
While the new poles are installed throughout the week, drivers may see some Bruce Avenue intersection closures, as well as some intermittent lane closures. The entire project is expected to wrap up by next Monday.
