A teenager from Kirkland Lake is facing 15 charges across five jurisdictions after allegedly stealing a truck. The OPP claims the F-150 was taken earlier this month from Larder Lake. The truck was seen the day after it was reported missing. Although officers tried to pull the 15-year-old driver over, he refused to stop and a short chase ensued. It was quickly called off due to public safety.
The teen was then eventually seen again in West Nipissing where he was arrested. Among the charges are car theft, fleeing from police, and breach of probation.
His name can not be released because he is a minor.
