Geotechnical drilling begins at the Sportsplex today, as part of the proposed aquatic centre study

Geotechnical drilling begins today at the Archie Dillion Sportsplex. This is part of the work for the proposed aquatic centre, to see if the ground can support the building. The drilling is expected to take about five days. Although the facility is still open, parking may be affected.

Drilling will also eventually happen on Highway 655, across from Gillies Lake.
