In support of Education Week and National Hunger Awareness Week, The Timmins’ Canadian Red Cross branch is conducting a Cereal Drive to raise awareness and support for student nutrition programs.
The Bowlful of Breakfast campaign is part of the Cereal Drive and some schools are already taking part in a classroom challenge to build the tallest and strong structure from cereal boxes collected.
St. Paul School Principal Daphne Brumwell says the campaign will help make sure the school has all the cereal they need to continue with their daily commitment to students. W. Earle Miller Public School is also participating.
