News Phase one of the Connecting Link reconstruction is continuing this week SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Tuesday, Sep. 6th, 2016 The $4.5 million construction work on the Connecting Link is continuing in South Porcupine today. The Bruce Intersection is still closed off, and drivers can expect detours in the area. The work has moved onto paving, from the Tisdale cemetery to Bruce Avenue. Traffic will be down to one lane in each direction. This is part of the bigger 10 phase project, that is estimated to cost around $100 million and have all of Algonquin eventually reconstructed.
