Tennis tournament coming to Timmins to help raise money for cancer research

The 1st annual Timbledon Tournament is happening next month. It’s a tennis tournament, hosted by Pepsi-Co. The goal of the event is to raise money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. It’s happening on September 10th and 11th, and is $20 to play.

Anyone 16-years-old or over can play, in either the beginner, intermediate, or expert division. Prizes will be up for grabs throughout the tournament, which is going to be at the Leo DelVillano Park on Pine. Sign up by contacting David Craig at 705 262 0303 or Lisa Geldart at 705 264 4266.
