Timmins city council is meeting for the last time this month, with some hot button issues on the agenda. First up is a presentation from Mayor Steve Black on the next steps for the proposed aquatic centre. After that comes a survey result from the BIA on changes to the smoking bylaw. Following that council will vote on a number of issues in a special meeting. The smoking bylaw is one of them, along with the property tax credit for seniors. The meeting kicks off at 6:00pm tonight at city hall, and is open to the public.
