Mental health services in the Timmins area are getting a boost this weekend thanks to a fundraiser at the motocross park on Kamiskotia Road. The event is running on Saturday afternoon, with funds raised going to the Cochrane-Temiskaming branch of the Mental Health Association. The CMHA says fundraisers like this are the reason they are able to support local residents who rely on their services.
The event is running from 12:00pm until 8:00pm on Saturday. Spectators get in for $5, riders can participate for $25, and kids 12 and under get in free. More information on the 705 MX Park is on their Facebook page.
