The Porcupine Health Unit will be at city council tonight, giving a presentation on what is only called public health topics in the recently released agenda. Also on tonight’s docket is a vote to support a resolution to lobby the province to allow the banning of door-to-door sales people. Council is also going to vote on changes to tipping fees, and on an agreement to have the roof of the Golden Manor fixed.
The meeting is at 6:00pm at city hall, and the first half is open to the public before the councillors go to an in-camera meeting.
