Over 250 electric charging stations are coming to Ontario according to the Ministry of Transportationwith some in the Northeast. Twenty-five locations are opening in Northeastern Ontario including stations in Timmins, Kapuskasing and Kirkland Lake. The Timmins location is a level three station located at the McDonald’s on Algonquin. It’s all part of Ontario’s Green Investment Fund which aims to build around 500 EV charging stations across the province from a total investment of almost $20 million.
