Northeast LHIN looking for ways to improve access to health care

The North East Local Health Integration Network is looking to give residents more access to nurse practitioners and family physicians. The Local Health Integration engaged the regions six Nurse Practitioner Led Clinics to talk about health care planning. They proposed new Health Links that would cover more parts of the region. The group talked about ways to put patients first and forge stronger links between primary and home care.
