Outdoor enthusiasts will be gathering this weekend for the MRCA’s annual summer hiking. The Mattagami Region Conservation Authority will once again be leading a hike up to Archie’s Rock on Sunday. The hidden gem is named for local resident Archie Chenier who discovered it.
The hike will showcase Chenier himself, as well as all of the new signage that leads the way. Meet at the MRCA building at Gillies Lake at 11:30am on Sunday, or join up with the group at the White Birch Outpost at 12:00pm.
