The Timmins Police is issuing a public advisory after fake cheques have been making the rounds. Police say the cheques are from Arnprior, Ontario, and are asking local businesses to verify any cheques they may receive from that area.
The investigation is still on going, however a 36-year-old Timmins man is facing charges in connection to the fraudulent cheques. He’s looking at three charges in total.
