Work is beginning on the first ever care plan for those with dementia in the northeast. The Local Health Integration Network is putting together a committee to respond to the area’s growth in the senior population. They are working to improve the system of care for those living with dementia, their families, and caregivers.

The LHIN is also working to strengthen collaboration between organizations providing dementia care, and increasing education in the northeast.
