The OPP in the north says it will be cracking down on the ‘big four’ this long-weekend. The ‘big four’ means impaired driving, distracted driving, speeding, and seatbelt use. The OPP says it will be out on not just our northern highways, but on its waterways as well focusing on those targets.
Cottage goers and other travellers on the highways this weekend are asked to always use caution, especially with the recent wildlife advisories posted in the region. The OPP says to expect increased visibility during their efforts this week and this weekend.
