Today marks National Aboriginal Day, which celebrates a new season, and the cultures and contributions of First Nation, Inuit, and Metis people. The Timmins Aboriginal Organizations Committee is hosting events all day today at the Participark to celebrate the day. There will be a traditional drumming, a sunrise ceremony, and a BBQ.
