A former Junior-A hockey player in Timmins is now coaching for the Vancouver Canucks. Dan Cloutier played for the Timmins Golden Bears during his rookie season in the OHL. The goalie is now the Canucks goaltending coach, after working as a consultant for Vancouver for the past four years.
Cloutier played in the NHL for 10 seasons, with the Rangers, the Lightning, the Kings, and the Canucks.
