A 48-year-old Timmins man is facing five charges after being pulled over for erratic driving. It happened on Friday in the downtown core of Timmins, when police noted the pickup truck driving unsafely. When they pulled the man over he briefly tried to evade police.

The charges include:

  • One count of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
  • One count of Operate a Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Mgs
  • One count of Drive Motor Vehicle – No Insurance
  • Two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance

He was released from custody and has a court date later this month.
