FRI PM (Angus sends prayers for Flaherty 4/11/14 PP)
Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus is sending his condolences to Jim Flaherty’s family.
Flaherty, former finance minister, passed away yesterday at 64-years-old.
Angus says Flaherty was a tough politician but one who came from a belief that partisanship is put aside when the game is over.
Angus adds that he got to enjoy personal time with Flaherty on a trip to Rome when he dropped his tough guy persona and they shared a lot of laughs.
