News TEBA marching against Monsanto this weekend SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Friday, May. 20th, 2016 The Timmins Ecological Beekeeping Association is taking part in the national March against Monsanto this weekend. The goal of the rally is to raise awareness on the company, GMO’s, and glyphosate. TEBA says Monsanto is responsible for colony collapse among the world’s bee population. TEBA says on top of that, their use of genetically modified food can lead to serious health issues; cancer, infertility, and birth defects. The march is happening in Timmins tomorrow at the Hollinger Park, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.
