The OPP says it’s found humans remain just southwest of Cochrane and has launched an investigation. Police say they responded to a call of the remains being found in Fournier Township and have called in forensics to assist in the investigation.
The OPP says the chief coroner has been called in and an autopsy is currently being done in Sudbury. It’s unclear whether foul play is suspected however the OPP says it has called in its Criminal Investigation Branch as it continues to look into it.
