A winter storm warning is in effect for Timmins, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, Little Abitibi, and Kesagami Lake, as well as Kapuskasing, Hearst, Smooth Rock Falls, Fraserdale, and Pledger Lake. Environment Canada says the snow is diminishing in intensity and only a few centimetres of additional accumulation are expected today. Local blowing snow conditions are also expected with winds northwest 40 km/h gusting to 60.
