A new summer festival is coming to Timmins this year. It’s called Bacon Fest, and is being put on by the Working Class and the Radical Gardens. The event will have music, food, and craft beer, with art vendors. It’s free for all ages, and there will be a 19+ beer tent. Mayor Steve Black says it’s great to see entrepreneurs in the community stepping up to bring new events to Timmins. Councillor Andre Grzela echoed those thoughts, saying it’s these type of events that help to bring the community together. He says it’s open to everyone, and is sending his appreciation to the Working Class and Radical Gardens for spearheading this initiative. Bacon Fest is running on Second Avenue, between Cedar and Balsam.
