The Timmins Police Service is asking drivers to look out for motorcycles now that the weather is starting to turn. Police say to double check your blind spots before switching lanes, drive defensively, and don’t crowd the bikes at intersections.
For the motorcyclists themselves, police say to be careful of sand on the roads left over from the winter, as it may threaten traction. They also say to lookout for road hazards like potholes, ride within your skill level, and wear reflective clothing.
