Public transportation concerns are being raised once again

Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus is once again raising concerns over cuts to the ONR. Angus says he has been hearing complaints from the public over how hard it is to get public transportation to the north. For example, if you leave Toronto at 11:30 PM, it’s a two and a half hour wait in the middle of the night in North Bay before another bus will continue on north.

Angus says there isn’t much more you can do to discourage ridership than asking a senior to sit in an empty bus station for hours in the dead of night. He says northern leaders need to work together to end the deterioration of service.
