There is a possibility the Ring of Fire could finally be seeing some action this year. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hinted at that possibility while in Sudbury last week. He would only say northern Ontario should expect an announcement about the chromite discovery in the coming months.
On top of that, the President of NorOnt Resources is expecting news on a development plan by mid-year. Noront is one of the biggest mining companies looking to develop the site.
