Young entrepreneurs are getting a chance to network tomorrow as part of an event put on by the Timmins Economic Development Corporation. The Building Momentum event is part of the Starter Company Program, which helps young people launch their businesses. It will let those in the program network, wrap-up the past year of programming, and launch the next year of programs, which are funded by the province

The program has helped 12 recipients secure almost $60,000 in grants over the past two years. Chairman of the TEDC, Fred Gibbons, says tomorrow’s Building Momentum event is an opportunity for individuals to build their own entrepreneurial community. He says it encourages young entrepreneurs to make their dreams a reality; creating economic benefits and improving quality of life in our local communities.
