News NDP asking Trudeau to follow up on a palliative care motion tabled by Angus SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Monday, Mar. 21st, 2016 The New Democrats are asking the federal government to follow up on a motion tabled by Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus. His motion calls for the federal government to establish a pan-Canadian palliative care strategy. The Harper government didn’t act on it, and now the New Democrats want to see some action from the Trudeau Liberals. Angus says improved palliative care services are an obvious need, which is why the NDP is pushing the government to act.
