The Timmins-James Bay MP says the Liberals are set to announce a huge boost in infrastructure spending, which means it’s time to take action at the chromite project. He says it has been stalled for a decade because of a lack of leadership from both the province and the feds.
Angus is taking action by writing an open letter to the federal Natural Resources Minister, Jim Carr. He says the mining regions in the north are suffering from a serious down-turn, and a long-term vision for the industry is needed.
