Northern OPP detachments are making sure snowmobilers are ready for the March break influx of riders on, and off, OFSC trails. The OPP says it just recently responded to a call where a snowmobile struck a car while trying to cross a highway. Police say they’re trying to prevent similar situations and keep riders safe.
The OPP is reminding all riders they must have proper documentation on them at all times. Your trail pass, insurance, registration and other documentation can all be requested by either OFSC or OPP sled patrols.
