More communities adopting Fentanyl patch program

A lot of towns and cities in Ontario aren`t waiting for a Private Member`s Bill to become law to stop Fentanyl abuse.  Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli, who designed the Bill, says many communities have implemented their own versions of the proposed law.  Fedeli says the number stands at 45 and expects it to keep growing.  Fedeli says that`s a good sign and hopes it gives the Legislature the push it needs to turn his Bill into law.  Over a seven year period beginning with 2007, 15 people died in North Bay as a result of abusing Fentanyl.  Fedeli says since adopting the program more than a year ago, not a single Fentanyl-related death has occurred in North Bay.
