A garden along Gillies Lake is about to be dedicated to a local organization.
The Timmins Step for Life Volunteers have cleaned up a garden along the trail on the Highway 655 side to dedicate to the Threads of Life organization. Media Volunteer Randy Keizer says it was important to them to dedicate the garden to a local organization that helps many in the area.
Keizer says there will be a dedication ceremony at the garden on August 1st starting at 1:30pm.
