Timmins’ fire chief has announced his retirement plans.
Chief Mike Pintar has announced he will be retiring at the end of the year after serving in his position for 13 years.
Pintar says it’s just time for him to move on.
He says he plans on just relaxing.
Pintar says his last official day with the city is December 31st, but he will be taking some vacation time before then.
The City of Timmins has put out an ad to fill the fire chief position.
