Some traffic changes will be coming to Timmins for Stars and Thunder.
City Council has voted to make Brunette Road a southbound one way lane from June 22nd to July 4th. Deputy Police Chief Des Walsh says this is to ensure the safety of pedestrian and drivers doing pick up and drop offs at the event.
Brunette Road will be a three lane road with barriers separating the lanes and concrete barriers will be put at the intersection of Brunette and Second Avenue to block any northbound traffic.
Walsh says with the increased traffic in the area, this will ensure safety for everyone.
